MORE BROADLY
The Fire Alarm Elokapina's summer campaign Wildfire Rebellion. The event is for the whole family and combines elements of demonstration and music festival to call on the government to stop deforestation. The festival, open to all, will also offer experiences of community and hope in a time of multiple crises.
The event starts with a march from Senaatintori to Kansalaistori, where the festival programme starts. At Kansalaistori, the main programme will be music and speeches.
In addition to the music performances, you can take part in a communal artwork, get tips from Repair Rebellion on how to save your favourite piece of clothing or show your support for the Palestinians purchasing artisanal products at the Crafts for Gaza table. Prepare yourself for the upcoming demonstrations at the sign-making workshop, relax in the collective quiet space or take part in a Fire Alarm quick onboarding session. Children can enjoy various active and creative programme and, of course, The Red Rebel Bridage will perform.
The event is peaceful, sober and open for all. We will not engage in civil disobedience in the festival. This is also an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with Elokapina's activities and the community.
